Hollywood Boulevard is always in motion. People from all around the world come to this street to read the names of entertainers on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, to experience the rich history of the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, and takes pictures with random people in costumes (who charge-FYI). This fast moving street is a space of cultural consumption saturated with the ideals of the American Dream. People come to Hollywood Boulevard to experience or at least get glimpse of people who made it ‘big‘ in the entertainment industry. However we can also see on this same street people who struggle to just simply “make it“. Nonetheless, Hollywood Boulevard is a space, both physical and mental, where people can experience social mobility, in every regard.
